Kick-off meeting of the new COST Action CA18223 SYMAT was held in Brussels on 6th November 2019. COST staff delivered an interactive presentation about how COST can support our research activities and how to manage a COST Action. Action chair and core-group positions have been elected and the venue of the first scientific meeting, Prague, has been approved.
COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) is a funding agency for research and innovation networks. Our Actions help connect research initiatives across Europe and enable scientists to grow their ideas by sharing them with their peers. This boosts their research, career and innovation.
The SyMat COST Action has the ambition to promote an international research community proposing innovative solutions to the demand of omnipresent connections in today’s society. Higher data rates and shared platforms can only be achieved if a new class of communicating devices becomes available at millimeter waves.
